Harvest Festival Reviews

Harvest Festival Review of Jai & Rylan

Loads of parents came to the Harvest Festival and it was on the 4th of October 2018.I think people thought it was good.In the assembly we had 3 flip grids. There were Rory and Rylan,Jai and James and Sara with Anna.First we did Rory and Rylan. We also Sara and Anna.Next we did James & Jai.We thought it was really fun and excellent. We sang Autumn days,Cabbages and greens broccoli  and beans ect.Year 5 made harvest links.Year 6 made a song with Mr Davies that was really fun.Harvest is for us to celebrate our food and to worship those who aren’t lucky enough to have food to survive and live for long. It’s really sad for people across the world such as us it might be you who will die from it next.

Harvest Review by Hayley and Edwin

In our school we celebrate Harvest festival and we did Flipgrids on Harvest festivals too. Harvest festival is a celebration is a way to say thank you to God for our food. The Harvest is in the autumn time and you bring tinned food, and food that’s non perishable. We sing different songs Cabbages and greens, Thank you Lord for this new day and Autumn days. All the school was in the hall to sing harvest songs and parents were there too to support. Every class did different things to show in sharing assembly.   In the assembly the other classes showed their work to the others and the parents, Reception children painted some Harvest pictures using orange, red and yellow paint, Year one made autumn trees for harvest, year six sang a song too.

Harvest Festival review
by Hanna & Katarina

On Thursday 4th October, we held a harvest assembly and a lot of parents were there. Katarina had a line and it was the second line of the assembly! We sung three amazing  songs, which were “Cabbages and greens” “Thank you lord” and “Autumn days”. Both of our moms were here and they really liked the assembly! We made flip grids for harvest, but we  only showed three of them because there wasn’t enough time to show all of them! The flip grids that were shown were James’s and Jai’s, Anna’s and Sara’s, and Rory’s and Rylan’s.We brought food in for charity. The charities were PAFRAS and Food bank. It was very fun singing to our parents, carers, and friends! Other classes showed some work just like we showed our flip  grid, lots of classes showed some artwork. ssembly was about half an hour, but it seemed like longer! I enjoyed singing all the harvest songs. Around the world, other people celebrate harvest festival, but we celebrated it the way we think it should be celebrated, on the day we think it should be celebrated, and tell people why we think it should be celebrated. We love Harvest time, especially when we do a Harvest Festival! Some people don’t celebrate Harvest Festival, because Harvest Festival is not like a very big festival, like christmas, people are not celebrating it as much as it should be. Personally, I love Harvest Festival because it is near Halloween so I can have another celebration to think about!
